Sara Davies goes for a festive dip and takes the plunge wild swimming

She’s been getting back to her usual routine after her stint on ‘s .  

And , 37, took the plunge and went wild swimming as she braved the freezing cold water, on Friday. 

The Dragon’s Den star, donned her swimwear and add a lavender chunky knitted hat in a bid to keep in some warmth. 

Taking to Instagram she penned: ‘Nothing better than a Christmas Wild Swim! I know you’ll think I’m crackers, but I really enjoyed it!
And it was totally exhilarating!’

Sara smiled for the camera as she could be seen wrapped up warm in a black weatherproof jacket after her dip.

She enjoyed a well deserved festive cupcake with green icing, complete with a tiny star decoration and a flask of hot drink. 

This comes as Sara took to Instagram last week to post a backstage snap with AJ Odudu as she supported her Strictly co-star who was forced to pull out of the final.  

Sara, who was voted out of the show in week eight, pulled a sad expression while posing alongside AJ, who used crutches and a protective boot.

Her TV host pal, 33, was forced to pull out of the competition on Friday after suffering ligament damage to her foot earlier this week, leaving her unable to stand.  

Sara explained that she was ‘absolutely distraught’ that  had been ‘robbed’ of a place in the final.  

Sara wrote in her caption: ‘Can I just say how absolutely distraught I am for this one……. 

‘She’s been absolutely robbed of a place in the strictly final and I am totally devastated for her, but she’s got her head held high and still out there supporting the other finalists in the way that only AJ could and she’s flipping amazing!

‘Love her to bits!
